For Mike Dolan

An RFP in, a draft AV proposal out.

We read through coltranesystems.com and built this before reaching out. We started with your Sales Engineers, because proposals are where their hours go.

The demo: a sample RFP on the left and a drafted scope on the right

From RFP to draft proposal

One sample bid shaped like Coltrane work: a healthcare training center with AV, security, cabling and sound masking. Four buttons draft the scope, the BOM, the RFI list for the GC and the cover letter. A fifth shows what happens when an addendum lands mid-bid. A Sales Engineer reviews every draft before anything goes out.

Who built this

MarkSet is a St. Louis company that builds AI tools for contractors, focused on the office work around a job: estimates, proposals, RFIs and the project records a team keeps searching for. It is led by Dylan Hampton, a Missouri S&T graduate with several years as a software engineer. Current work includes Claude training for a St. Louis mechanical contractor's project managers and a company knowledge system that answers questions from that contractor's own past jobs.
